Code from email
Some actions ask you to confirm it is you with a code from email, even though you are already signed in. The code goes to the address of your account.
When Talvedo asks for it
- Showing a password, if the project lead turned on Code from email before showing a password in the project settings, General. It is off by default. When on, one code is good for 12 hours of reveals in this browser.
- Turning quick sign-in to production on or off. Here the code is needed every time and must be fresh, see Quick sign-in to production.
The code
- Six digits, valid for 10 minutes, 5 attempts.
- A new code cancels the previous one. No more than 5 emails per hour.
- The code confirms the browser you are in and does not create a new session.
