Terms of Service
Last updated: October 5, 2026
These terms apply to your use of Talvedo, the issue tracker for product development teams at talvedo.com. By creating an account or using Talvedo you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Talvedo is built and run by the same small independent team that makes makermap. We have not yet incorporated a company. These terms are published by Talvedo, and the registered entity and governing law will be named here once one exists. Until then, nothing in this document should be read as choosing a jurisdiction on your behalf.
2. The service
Talvedo lets a team plan and track its work: workspaces, projects, issues, sprints, releases and integrations with tools such as Jira, GitHub, Slack and calendars. Talvedo is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell workspace owners in advance, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
3. Accounts and workspaces
- You sign in with a one-time code or link sent to your email. Use an email address that is yours and keep access to it secure: whoever controls the mailbox can sign in to the account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what agents and integrations you connect do with the tokens you issue them. If you lose a token, revoke it in your settings.
- The person who creates a workspace is its owner. The owner and administrators decide who is invited, what roles people have and which integrations are connected, and they are responsible for having the right to add the people and data they add.
- You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live, and at least 16.
4. Your content
You keep every right you have in what you put into Talvedo: issues, comments, files and everything else. We do not claim ownership and we do not use your content to train AI models.
We process your content only to run the service for you: storing it, making search work, showing it to the people and integrations you have given access, sending the notifications you have set up, and backing it up. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Workspace owners and administrators can export the workspace's data from its settings at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Talvedo to break the law, to store or distribute material you have no right to, to distribute malware, to attack or overload the service or anybody else through it, to access other people's workspaces or data without permission, or to resell access.
No spam
Talvedo sends email on your behalf, so these rules are strict:
- Invite only people who know you and expect an invitation to your workspace. Do not invite people who have not agreed to it, and do not use invitations to reach people who are not joining your team.
- Request sign-in codes only for your own email address. Do not trigger sign-in emails to addresses that are not yours.
- Do not use Talvedo's forms, invitations, notifications, changelog pages or release emails to send unsolicited or bulk messages, and add people to a changelog only through its own subscription form, which asks each person to confirm.
To report spam or other abuse coming from Talvedo, write to [email protected].
We may limit, suspend or close an account or workspace that breaks these rules or that uses so much of a shared resource that other customers are affected. Where we can, we will tell you first.
6. Services you connect
When you connect Jira, GitHub, Slack, a calendar or an AI agent through Talvedo's MCP server, you choose to exchange data between Talvedo and that service. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Talvedo available, but we do not promise that it will never be unavailable, and we do not offer a service level agreement. We may change or remove features. When a change removes something you rely on, we will give notice where it is practical, and the workspace export remains available.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using Talvedo at any time. To delete your account or a workspace you own, write to [email protected] from the email address of your account. We may close an account or workspace for a serious or repeated breach of section 5, or if we are required to by law.
9. Liability
Talvedo is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for data you did not export. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will tell workspace owners by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use Talvedo after that is acceptance.
